VICTIM ASSISTANCE
Navigating the legal and medical system while dealing with a crisis such as abuse can be daunting. Our team accompanies and supports victims through medical exams, police questioning, and court appearances – helping to advocate for their rights and guide them through the complicated process. Referrals are made for legal aid, financial aid, counseling and inter-agency support services. Assistance is also provided in filing protection-from-abuse or stalking orders and victim compensation claims.
